What voice banking actually costs

Voice banking software and voice file purchases range from approximately $100 to $1,400 depending on the provider. Examples: Acapela / My Own Voice (~$999), Model Talker (~$100), SpeakUnique ($235 – $400), ElevenLabs (free via Team Gleason partnership).

What Team Gleason covers

The Team Gleason Foundation covers voice banking costs for eligible applicants with an official ALS diagnosis living in the USA. Critically, you must apply before making any payments. The foundation cannot reimburse expenses you have already paid out of pocket.

How to apply

Visit Team Gleason's "Need Assistance" page. Complete the personal information section. Select "Voice and Message Banking" in requested services. Submit and await staff contact. Respond promptly to any follow-up; an unanswered request can be marked as denied.
